• Advanced English skills. Good communication skills.

• Background on Software Engineering, experience in design, coding, and testing. Knowledge of algorithms and patterns.

• Background on Data Analysis: Data Mining, Data Modelling, High-performance analytics.

• Hands-on experience building large-scale, distributed data processing systems (collection, storing, management, visualization) on top of On-Premise or Cloud infrastructure. 

• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools. Ability to prototype and develop POC using such tools.

• Knowledge of Databases (SQL, and desired: NoSQL and their use cases) and Data Warehousing solutions.

• Understanding data pipelines and being aware of the different technologies for designing, constructing, integrating, and monitoring. Desired: knowledge of one, some of each, or at least be aware of their existence.

• Experience in implementing cloud solutions.

• Research and test new methods to collect and process data.
